Our retainers

Our retainers last 1-3 years with daily use, dependent on if you grind your teeth, and how well you look after them. By comparison, typically retainers from your dentist are recommended to be replaced every 6 months.
Your retainers will be approximately 1mm thick, which is the standard thickness of a retainer typically provided by your dentist. If you need a thicker retainer for grinding, please get in touch.
Your retainers will be made from medical grade bio-compatible Essix material specifically made for the manufacturing of retainers. This material is rigid to keep your teeth securely in place, and it’s free from BPA, latex, phthalate and allergens.

About us

When you order an appliance from your dentist they’ll take your impressions. These impressions are then sent over to dental labs, such as us, where they’ll be used to manufacture your appliances which are returned to your dentist. Your dentist will then mark up the price & provide them to you. As you’re providing your impressions direct to our lab, we’re able to offer you much more affordable retainers directly, without the need for appointments.
Our dental laboratory is located in Cumbria, in the United Kingdom.
Your retainers will be made in our UK laboratory.
